Thể Thao 247 - On April 23 afternoon, VFF reduced Nguyen Van Quan’s sentence after his own goal occurring in the matchday of Binh Phuc and Can Tho.

His first punishment was suspending 11 matches and he was fined 20 million VND. However it was reduced to 7 matches and the money has no change.

Van Quan can return to play for the derby of V.League Round 8 in their home clash against Long An. Can Tho now ranks 8th with 3 points.

Van Quan disclaimed his gamble action and explained it had been the result of wind and technical mistake:

"I am happy to know that I got reduced my sentence. I am trying my best to practice in order to return to the field without mistake like that."

The coaches dismissed Van Quan from his duty as the captain.

Recently, Tagliafico from Ajax scored an own goal making the goalie Onana failed to save the situation.

In Ligue I, Choupo-Moting deflected a perfect shot from team-mate onto the post from point-blank range.

Luckily, neither of them got any sentence from the organizers.
