Who will be eliminated from the U23 Vietnam squad list?

Park Hang-seo will soon finallized thr official squad list to attend AFC U23 Championship 2020 finals.

To preprare for the tournament in Thailand, Park called 28 players to the preliminary list. He will have 1 week to choose the best players.

Park Hang-seo is likely to keep the same formation with 17 players in SEA Games. Besides, Tran Dinh Trong is surely in the squad.

The 5 players excluded from the list should be Bui Hoang Viet Anh, Dang Van Toi, Nguyen Hung Thien Duc, Dung Quang Nho, Nguyen Huu Thang, Nguyen Trong Dai, Tran Bao Toan, Tran Danh Trung, Nham Manh Dung, and Y Eli Nie.

U23 Vietnam will have three goalkeepers and Y Eli Nie will be substitute for Tien Dung and Van Toan. On the defense, Park will eliminate one center back and winger. Bui Hoang Viet Anh, despite his strength, is less capped than other players while Thien Duc hardly could compete for a place against Thanh Thinh and Van Toi.

In midfield is the competition between 3 names Huu Thang, Bao Toan and Trong Dai. Most likely, Park Hang-seo will retain Trong Dai, because he needs more options for the central midfield position.

Duc Chinh and Tien Linh will surely attend as strikers, Park will have to eliminate one of two names, Nham Manh Dung and Tran Danh Trung. Danh Trung will likely be retained

Midfielders: Tran Thanh Son, Tran Bao Toan, Trieu Viet Hung (HAGL), Nguyen Trong Dai, Nguyen Hoang Duc, Nguyen Huu Thang (Viettel), Nguyen Trong Hung (Thanh Hoa), Bui Tien Dung (SHB Da Nang), Nguyen Quang Hai and Truong Van Thai Quy (Hanoi FC).
