However, the amount of salary that Mr. Park received was not paid by VFF, but by the president of HAGL, Doan Nguyen Duc.

According HAGL president, with the great attraction that the teams bring in the past, VFF has favorable conditions to earn income and that is the reason why they have to pay for Mr. Park:
“Two years ago, Vietnamese football had no achievements; VFF had difficulties because there was no revenue. With the dream of helping the country develop football, I went to Korea to find out, invited Mr. Park to Vietnam to work and pay.
I'm not hard-pressed or turn my back every time VFF gets into trouble. I support a lot and also have contributed quietly to VFF and Vietnamese football.
Helping each other during difficult time, tragic is very good. But help is not valuable when they do not know how to catch and exploit the chances. That's why I ended up paying for coach Park when Mr. Park's first contract ended”.
Not only that, Chairman of the club Hoang Anh Gia Lai also said that if Vice President of Finance of VFF is incompetent, Mr. Duc will recommend a potential candidate is Entrepreneur Nguyen Hoai Nam, who is ready to bring more than VND 200 billion / year to VFF and has been failed at the VFF meeting.
The contribution of Mr. Duc for domestic football is also remarkable, he was the one who actively took the time and effort to persuade Korean and invite Park Hang-seo to lead Vietnam.
With the great success that the national teams have achieved in the past, VFF can fully exploit and collect profits from advertising activities or call for support from businesses, at that the salary for Mr. Park will not be too big a problem.
