Thể Thao 247 - Siam Sports (Thailand) revealed the reason Thailand finding Head Coach from Japan for Thailand NT instead of other countries.
Thailand team disapointed fans
Having such disappointed results, Thailand is expected to prepare for a better movement to finish important goals of 2019 especially World Cup Asia Qualifications. One thing needs to be done first is finding another Coach replacing for Sirisak Yodyardthai before Kings Cup starts.
It seemed that FAT is in problem seeking European Coaches. There were some names from German, Holand, Croatia, and England but they all denied directing Thailand team.
All expected cadidates refused to become Thai coaches
Somyot Poompanmoung (FAT) shared:
“Recently, we have contacted many candidates. But they all refused to become Thai coaches.”
FAT pointed a representative heading to Japan to seek for a Coach of Thailand team. If it works, Thailand will have the first Japanese Coach who will be the 14th foreign Coach of Thailand football background.
