Mr. Le Hoai Anh, VFF general secretary, said VFF will prioritize U23 Vietnam to play a friendly match with U23 Nigeria.
U23 Vietnam, having the core U22 players, sets an important goal in 2019 to seize SEA Games gold medal beforea heading to AFC U23 Championship 2020.
They will summon up and train for a long period to prepare for the 2 tournament, thereby, VFF is in a rush preparing for the friendly match and training plan for the head coach Park Hang-seo.
Mr Le, sharing with Zing in an interview, stated that: “We will prioritize U23 Vietnam since the national team has experience many tournaments. Nigeria Ambassador plays an important role in connecting the relationship. VFF will base on FIFA Day sechule to arrange a match”.
VFF is waiting for the confirmation of Nigeria side on the team. The venue will be considered thoroughly with comfortable the weather for U23 team.
