Thailand no.1 goalkeeper Kawin Thamsatchanan said that Cong Phuong is extremely ‘dangerous’ for Thailand in King’s Cup 2019.
Speaking to Vietnam media, Kawin Thamsatchanan pointed out the Vietnam strongest striker that he must watch out in the opening match at King’s Cup 2019. However, the guardian still believes Thailand will clinch the win.
Answering The Thao Van Hoa, Kawin Thamsatchanan said: “I watched Vietnam NT playing in Asian Cup. There were many skillful players but I cant remember their names. Cong Phuong? He is a dangerous player of Vietnam NT.
“My teammates and I have no pressure, we just focus on our team. Vietnam has a quality team, they got AFF Cup. Thailand vs Vietnam match promises to be the big game in Asia. Our task is to win this”.
Kawin Thamsatchanan is playing for OH Leuven in the Belgium Proximus League. He is a familiar name to Vietnam supporters as he clinched SEA Game gold medal with Thailand in 2013 and champions AFF Cup 2014, 2016.
In King’s Cup, coach Park uses almost the same formation as Asian Cup 2019.
After a half way done in K-League side Incheon, Cong Phuong hasn’t scored any goal, despite playing 352 minutes, he delivered only 3 finishes.
However, Vietnam forward Cong Phuong is still considered the best scorer of Vietnam NT in King’s Cup 2019.
