Park Hang-seo shares of coaching work in ASEAN with coach Shin Tae Young- who will be in charge of Indonesia national team.
Park Hang-seo is training for U23 Vietnam in South Korea to prepare for the AFC U23 Championship 2020 finals.
In the interview with the local media, the 60-year-old stratergist shares about coach Shin tae-yong, who led South Korea in the World Cup 2022, the notable achievement was a 2-0 win over Germany.
Coach Park Hang Seo shared about his colleague: “Shin Tae Yong is my friend. The fact that he's been noticed by Indonesia means he's capable. I told Shin that if he had a break, he would have a better sense of this field."
"In fact, it is difficult to be the national coach in any nation of Southeast Asia. It is not easy because of differences in communication, customs and culture. Indonesia is an Islamic culture, so it is more different. I hope Shin will take the chance and go to the most suitable place,” Park said
The captain of the Indonesian national team has been vacant since former manager Simon McMenemy left. The Scottish coach was sacked after a series of poor results in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. Indonesia made a big disappointment after going through a losing streak and couldn't win even one point. Mr. Shin Tae-yong is the best candidate to become the new coach of Indonesia.
