Despite Sint-Truidense head coach Marc brys’ absence, he still sends his warmest greetings to Cong Phuong.
Today, the signing ceremony between Cong Phuong and Belgium side Sint-Truidense is held in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, with the appearances of important figures including HAGL president Doan Nguyen Duc, managing director Nguyen Tan Anh, VFF Vice President Cao Van Chong and Sint-Truidense’s managing director Takayuki Tateishi.
After Cong Phuong signs with Sint-Truidense, they shows a video on Sint-Truidense city introduction, First Devision A and all players’ greetings for Cong Phuong, in which Sint-Truidenese gave a small speech to welcome Cong Phuong.
“Hello, Cong Phuong! Welcome to Sint-Truidense. I want to let you know that everyone is ready to welcome you in here. You are a talented player and I has been waiting for the day we work together. You will help Sint-Truidense stronger. Hope that we could meet up as soon as possible. See you at Sint-Truidense!”.
Also in the signing ceremony, the number of Cong Phuong jersey has also been announced. Accordingly, Cong Phuong will wear the No. 15 shirt in Sint-Truidense. Cong Phuong said: "I am very cheerful to wear Sint-Truidense shirt in the Belgian league. This is a great turning point in my career. Thank you, HAGL president, executive board, VFF and Sint-Truidense club, I will try to practice, play hard when I go to the field to satisfy Vietnamese fans".
Sint-Truiden club will have an official match in the first round of the Belgian league on July 28th. It is the home game against Royal Excel Mouscron club at Stayen and if Phuong is able to integrate quickly, Cong Phuong can fully contribute to the list of Sint-Truiden in this match.
