Striker Pape Omar thinks it's great that both Vietnam teams: Hanoi FC and Becamex Binh Duong have the right to play in the 2019 AFC Cup finals in ASEAN zone
After intense matches in the semi-finals, two Vietnamese representatives, Hanoi FC and Becamex Binh Duong, both surpassed Ceres Negros and PSM Makassar to advance to the 2019 AFC Cup finals in Southeast Asia.
This is the first time Vietnam has had two representatives to reach the final of the AFC Cup region. And It proves that Vietnamese football is at the peak of Southeast Asia.
Speaking about Hanoi FC's success at the 2019 AFC Cup, striker Pape Omar shared: “We had a great performance against Ceres Negros. The whole team really wants to win because this is a very important game ”.
“People say my goal is important but for me the team is more important than a player. We always try to play well for the club”.
Before the "Vietnam derby" at the 2019 AFC Cup finals in Southeast Asia, the Senegal striker said: "I am very pleased that Becamex Binh Duong has also reached the final. I think Vietnamese football has won, not only Hanoi FC or Binh Duong. It was great that both Vietnamese teams play in the final ”.

According to the schedule, the 2019 AFC Cup finals in Southeast Asia between Hanoi FC and Becamex Binh Duong will take place on July 30 or 31, while the second leg will take place a week later.
